ASEC Corporation completed the design and construction phase services for the relocation of Cranberry Meadow Road over Conrail in the Town of Spencer. The project included the realignment of Cranberry Meadow Road and the design of a new bridge. The new bridge is on a horizontal alignment about 100 feet north of the existing. The roadway alignment over the bridge is on a 350 foot center line radius with banked sections at a maximum of 4 percent. The roadway reconstruction is on a new vertical profile grade to meet the minimum design speed of 30 mph. The project required alteration of Town Road location lines, takings and slope easements.
