This project consists of the development of preliminary and final design plans for improvements to the intersection of Route 140 (Maple Street) and Maple Street in the Town of Bellingham. The project includes the realignment of Maple Street and South Maple Street as well as the design of a traffic signal.

Route 140 was widened to accommodate left turn lanes on both the east and west approaches. In addition, a fully activated traffic signal was designed for this intersection. The project also requires the alteration of the layout lines, taking and construction easement.
