WALNUT HILL WATER TREATMENT PLANT Marlborough, Massachusetts | ||||||||

As part of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority Capital Engineering and Construction Division’s Improvement Program, a new water treatment facility is currently under construction in Marlborough, MA. Known as the Walnut Hill Water Treatment Plant, this facility will have an average and peak capacity of 270 MGD and 405 MGD of drinking water to meet the supply demands for 44 cities and towns in the Greater Boston Metropolitan Area serving a population of 2.5 million people. ASEC’s responsibilities include resident inspection services as well as document control and database management services. As resident inspectors ASEC personnel provides daily observation and monitoring of construction activities to properly document the work performed in all contracts. Database management services are being provided to assist in the development of an Operations and Repair manual.
